HL Tau

Hei,
There is a nice article about the ALMA observations of HL Tau in the latest number of the Norwegian magazine "Astronomi". HL Tau is also a variable star but there are not very many observations in the AAVSO database, and only a few are visual. I would like to try it, but it's just on the edge of my possibilities (magnitude 14-15). Has anyone tried it already?
UX Ori is a similar kind of star and one of my favourites! But it's probably too low above the Swedish sky?
mvh,
Bruno
