Jag har också tittat lite på den h-g.
Enligt specen, speciellt PE, är den bättre än min Losmandy G11 som lovar +-7 bågsekunder.
Tydligen kan man köpa till encodrar m.m. för uppgradering som kan behövas för den som skall använda den till astrofoto med längre brännvidder. Den kan bära mycket så vad har du tänkt hänga på den ?
Kanske vi har någon här på forumet som köpt eller testat den.

Lite osäkert ännu men ev kan jag få en 150 mm Schupmann Refraktor från USA och med lite kringutrustning så väger den en hel del, och pga av längden så vill jag gärna ha en montering som klarar 50-70 kg helst det övre värdet.

Det låter som ett drömteleskop! Jag läste om Schupmanteleskop i en artikel i S&T någon gång på 1980-talet och tyckte det lät jättehäftigt. Har dock aldrig tittat i något sådant.

Jag har inte heller tittat i något, har fått en hel del teckningar av Mike Mattei som han gjorde av Mars under 1988 med en Schupmann, helt otroliga teckningar.

I varje fall beskriver Mike sin Schupmann så här:
Now how the scope works, the front element is a single lens of BK-7 glass and the corrector is also a single element, both have to come from the same melt for the annealing to be the same, this is important for the correction of color correcting.
The objective is a single piece of glass, the field mirror is low expansion glass, and the corrector is a single piece of glass, after that comes the standard diagonal and eye piece.
All of the surfaces have a radius on them. The corrector has a protective sliver coating on its back side because the light goes through the front to the back and out the front again.
The objective is a single element that produces chromatic aberration, sends the beam to the field mirror and this mirror sends the beam to the corrector where the beam passes through the front surface to the back surface and is then reflected back to the front surface and out to a diagonal.

It is a beautiful system for looking at the planets and the sun. As you know from your latitude when looking at Venus you get the effects of the atmosphere blue on bottom and red on top, well with a tweak of the screw on the field mirror this can be cancelled out, perfect color correction.
The objective produces chromatin aberration and the corrector cancels it out for a prefect image.
Also, one can take spectra of bright stars by tweaking the field mirror to bring a spectral line and by allowing the scope to drift in RA you get a spectrum.

I have never looked thru a scope better than this.
